Abstract

Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) is a multifactorial disease and a leading cause of preventable childhood blindness, particularly in preterm infants. Identification of maternal and neonatal risk factors is essential for early detection and management.

Aim: To evaluate the association of maternal and perinatal risk factors with the development of ROP in preterm infants.
